SCR Blogger and Alert Logic CTO, Misha Govshteyn, along with The 451 Group’s, senior analyst, Andrew Hay were the guests this week on the Security.Exe podcast, hosted by Alan Shimel. The subject of the podcast was what effect the Cloud would have on the SIEM market and how the security landscape is changing with the advent of Cloud Computing.
This podcast episode arose out of the post on SCR by Gray Hall speculating that as the Cloud grows, SIEM would suffer (link below). While all three participants found much common ground in their vision of the future, it is an enlightening 40 minutes or so on cloud security, what security jobs will be in demand, what security technologies are poised for growth and which ones are not.
